September has two birth flowers - Aster and Morning Glory. Asters are named after the greek word for "Star" as this is what the shape of the flowers represent. They are a symbol of wisdom, patience and faith. 

This necklace makes an especially lovely personalised gift as you can engrave the back of the pendant with something special just for your recipient. Their name, initial, a date or a short sentiment. We are engraving each and every necklace in house and love to take on your personalisation requests. 

You can also add a matching birthstone charm, either the colour that represents the same month or perhaps the recipients favourite colour, or the colour of the flower itself.

Our engravings are done in house with our new laser engraver. We are so excited to create meaningful and personalised gifts for you with this new machine and technology.

These necklaces are 18" long stainless steel. They have a strong but dainty chain and the pendants are 16mm in size.

We are loving working with stainless steel. Stainless steel is hypoallergenic, non-tarnish and extremely durable. It can be worn every day and still look great! If you want a necklace you don't have to worry about taking off to sleep or shower.

The gold and rose gold versions have a thick layer of the metal on top of the stainless steel that is hardwearing, scratch resistant and can be kept looking beautiful for many years so long as it isn't exposed to harsh chemicals and is dried with a soft cloth after getting wet.

We can engrave the reverse of the birth flower pendant with something special for the wearer of the necklace.
The pendants are 16mm in size so something short is required but here are our suggestions:

- A name (up to 20 characters)
- An initial or set of initials.
- A special date
- A short sentiment (up to 20 characters)
for example: "I love you Mummy" or "Happy 20th Birthday"

Some reassuring news too - having your order personally engraved does not disqualify it from our returns policy. You can still return it even after personalising your necklace, please see our returns policy.

We have several fonts available for you to choose for your engraving. We've tried to keep this simple with the choices we feel will be the most popular.

If it looks like your personalised message is going to be difficult to read due to the font you've chosen - don't worry we will reach out to you via email to discuss it with you first. Please note this will extend the dispatch time whilst we are waiting for confirmation.

We have 12 colours available for birthstone charms and each one is available with the silver, gold or rose gold stainless steel casing so you can match it to your necklace.

Our engraved necklaces are presented in lovely gift boxes and backed onto a card inside with the meanings of the birth flower.
We use FSC certified white kraft gift boxes with our logo hot foiled in silver on the lid.

The gift box will be wrapped in pretty tissue paper and presented inside a white organza gift bag - ready to gift! You can add a free gift message to your necklace that will be printed and put on a little card that will be behind the box in the gift bag. The recipient will see this gift message first.

If you are purchasing the gift wrapping upgrade then we use glittery tissue paper, the box is wrapped in a paper raffia ribbon bow and then popped inside a blue hessian gift bag with paper heart confetti (your gift message card if there is one) and then the hessian bag is decorated with a gift tag with the recipient's name and a little blue teardrop crystal.

We use cardboard boxes, paper packing tape and tissue paper to ship the goods in. All of this can be recycled. We are doing our best to source eco-friendly packaging materials wherever we can. 

  • Shipping policy
  • Your order will be processed and dispatched within 2 working days.
  • Your order should take 1-3 days to arrive after dispatch.
  • We dispatch all orders out within 2 working days (Monday-Friday) and then delivery times follow. We reserve the right to lengthen our dispatch time during busy times such as Christmas, there will be a banner on our website with any current updates to dispatch time.
  • We use Royal Mail for all our domestic post.
  • First Class Postage: UK customers benefit from free first class postage on every order. First class does not include tracking.
  • Tracking: For tracked postage please add it at the checkout when choosing your shipping method. The cost will be the same as we are charged by Royal Mail.
  • Postal delays: First class is usually 1-3 days after dispatch. Sometimes the mail is delayed for reasons out of our control. Royal Mail will not deem the item lost until it has been 10 working days from the date of dispatch, at this point a refund or replacement will be issued.
  • Incorrect Address Policy: The customer is always responsible for providing a complete and correct address at the checkout. No refunds will be given to customers who have provided an incorrect address unless the item is returned to us by the mail company or by the current occupier of that address.
  • If you have noticed your address is incorrect before shipment please contact us immediately at so that we can change it for you.
  • If you have noticed your address is incorrect after shipment we won't be able to do anything to retrieve or redirect the order. We will let you know immediately if it is returned to us by Royal Mail or the current occupier and offer to refund or resend it out to you at your correct address.
  • Packaging: Most of our orders are sent in boxes suitable for fitting through your letterbox. If you've ordered a larger volume of items they may be sent in a bigger box that will require Royal Mail to knock on your door or leave it in your safe place.
  • We only require signatures on larger or high value orders. 
  • Returns
  • We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

  • To start a return, you can contact us at If your return is accepted we will send you instructions on how to send your item back to us. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  • The return postage must be paid by the customer unless there is an issue with the order. In the case where we have made a mistake with your order or the mail company hasn't delivered when expected; we will cover the return postage.

  • You can always contact us for any return question at

  • Damages and issues.
  • Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We will require photo evidence, if the item has arrived defective or damaged you will be refunded or the item can be replaced.

  • Exchanges
  • The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Your original order will be refunded when we have received it back here and made sure it's in it's original packaging and in unworn and unused condition.

  • Refunds
  • We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
